Have you ever noticed someone and caught yourself wondering, "What are they thinking about?" or "What led them to do that?" or "What's their story?" As deeply curious and emotional human beings, we are often drawn to the unspoken layers beneath the surface. We desire connection, understanding, and the chance to uncover the intricacies that weave the human existence. That quiet wondering and curiosity - the desire to know and understand, is where the roots for my rebrand and transformation begin.
As a brand and website designer, I am entrusted with the unique opportunity to peek behind the curtains, to learn the why behind the business: why it was born, what fuels it, and who it's meant to serve. It is an immense privilege to be able to listen to my clients' stories and weave them into a beautifully crafted website or intentional brand that reflects not just what my clients do, but why they do it. Through my art , I'm able to create a space for clients to share their passion, talent and value with the world.

The realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own- populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness- an epic story which continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in a busy café, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a soft smile crossing paths on the street, as a lighted window at dusk.
I don't remember exactly where I first came across the word sonder, but I do remember reading the definition and thinking- this is it. This is what it's all about. Being an artist is so much more than creating pretty things, it's about telling stories through art and creating work that resonates with your ideal target audience.
Though sonder is technically neologism which means it's a newly coined term that isn't officially recognized in the dictionary, I think it's meaning is quite powerful and beautiful. And who's to tell us whether something is "real" or not, anyway?
The term was introduced by John Koenig in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, a book devoted to coining terms that describe complex human emotions we all experience, but rarely have the words to express. Inspired by German sonder meaning "special" and the French sonder meaning "to probe." The common thread of sonder is woven through my values, my intentions, and my design processes.

We recently hired Sav Creative to rebrand our small specialty wood millwork company, as our focus narrowed to only timber frame work. We requested a new logo and website to better represent our mission. Savana designed the perfect vintage logo that represented timber frame perfectly with little input required.
We asked for a lot in the new website with marketing being only one segment of our request, as we’re a very small company and needed a tool to save time, a central hub where we could send a perspective, as well as existing customer for useful information.
