Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or cultural experiences, Nodaway County has it all. Discover why this hidden gem in Missouri is a must-see destination for travelers and locals alike. With its rich amenities, natural beauty, and welcoming community, Nodaway County invites you to explore, indulge, and create unforgettable memories. Maryville offers visitors and locals alike plentiful opportunities to play, dine, stay and explore. It is also home to Northwest Missouri State University, a diverse university of 8,000 students with a wide variety of sports events, lectures, concerts and activities.
DeAnn’s goal for this project was to create an easy way for visitors to see everything Maryville and the surrounding area has to offer. She wanted a brochure that featured a map showcasing points of interest throughout the city as well as a broader area attractions map highlighting surrounding towns. We also added an events calendar along with short descriptions of experiences, shops and places around Maryville.

Behind the Design
Visit Maryville already had a well established brand, but they lacked proper vector files to ensure excellent printing quality with no pixelation. I vectorized their logo and delivered them every file they’ll need to ensure their brand is looking perfect no matter the application, and I also developed a very simple color palette to use in the brochure.

Behind the Brochure
This brochure serves as an overview of everything Maryville and the surrounding area has to offer its visitors. There's something special about having a brochure that you can hold and carry around, I think it adds a sense of novelty to the city that a website can't capture. As a 12x18 tri-fold, this brochure packs a lot of information into a small space so I had to ensure my design was strategic and intentional to keep things from feeling too busy or overwhelming. The brochure is divided into categories and the inside features an area attractions map as well as an events overview, so visitors have everything they need to make the most out of their trip.
