THE brief
Willow + Elm was born from the joining of two sister stores, Blue Willow Boutique and White Elm Mercantile. The stores provided quality apparel and home decor and gifts respectively, but since they were under the same owner it only made sense to merge them under one cohesive and beautiful brand. Today, Stephanie still offers the same quality apparel, gifts, and home decor her community loves, and she continues to foster the relationships she’s grown with an amazing community of women.
While I was in college Stephanie employed me as her social media & marketing manager and truly helped me establish my roots in freelance graphic design, so working on any project with her is always a treat. This brand feels like a transformation to a new era in the best way and represents how she continues to adapt to better serve her community and clients.

Willow + Elm offers a large variety of products, so we wanted her website to be organized effectively in a way that customers could quickly navigate to their desired category. This e-commerce site features a custom site navigation that changes depending on whether you’re shopping for your closet or your home, ensuring a seamless user experience.
